INSTRUCTORS > ANDREA JENNI BURNOSKI BIOGRAPHY
Andrea Jenni Burnoski was born and raised in Switzerland and she has been living and working in Berlin, Germany since 2008. In 2001 she began studying Movement Pedagogy in Basel, Switzerland and in 2006 she received a dance diploma from SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). Andrea has taught dance and movement in Basel at the Institution HWS and in Berlin at Die Etage, Tanzfabrik, Danceworks and Studio 142. She has danced for several choreographers including Willi Donner, Kirsten Burger, Jessica Jobaris, Nancy Banfi and collaborated with Dominique Richards, Raffaella Galdi, Christian Burnoski and Meredith Bove. Her choreographic work has been shown at Sophiensaele, Ballhaus Ost, LaborGras, ada, Theater am Gleis, Chiassodanza, Sudhaus Warteck, Scène Ouvert and at several galleries in Berlin. In 2002 she took her first class in Klein Technique™ at the Klein School of Movement and Dance. Since then she has been taken classes and workshops with Susan Klein, Hanna Hegenscheidt, and Barbara Mahler in New York, Berlin, London, Barcelona, and Hawaii.
